Here at Blaze Trails we know the huge benefits getting outdoors can have on the whole family.

We work to support families to get outside together on two feet, but we’re also huge advocates for the joys of getting out with your family on two wheels. But where to start?! What bike seats do you need? How do you teach a toddler to ride a balance bike?! How do you get them pedaling?! Can you really go bikepacking with small children?!

Thankfully, we know someone with the answers to all of the family bike riding questions! Come and join us on Tuesday 1st July at 7.30pm with the brilliant Karen Gee from Cyclesprog who will be on hand to talk at a high level about why cycling with little ones is such fun, the types of cycling you can do with them, and some of the equipment you can use with with plenty of time to answer your questions.

Kids love bikes! Not only are they fun, but riding a bike is a great outdoor activity that gets your child active and away from screens. Their website is packed full of information, including the best bikes for your child, whatever their age and riding ability and advice on just starting out on cycling with your family. They pride themselves on only recommending bikes they’d be happy for their friends and family to use as they know what a difference a properly sized, good quality bike makes.
